Calculation and analytical complex
The BUYON has a calculation and analytical complex (hereby – Complex) for radio-frequency planning performing, based on the use of advanced informational technologies and geographic information systems, that implements algorithms for calculating according to the methodological recommendations of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU-R P.525, ITU-R P.526, ITU-R P.1546, EURO-COST 231)
The Complex uses GISArcGIS 10 (ArcInfo, ArcView, ArcGIS Server and others). There is a digital terrain model with an initial step of 50 meters and radar interferometric imaging of the globe (SRTM-3) incorporated in the Complex. For most cities the heights of buildings and constructions are integrated into the digital elevation model. GIS integration with mathematical models is carried out using specialized development packages GIS ToolKit (“Panorama”) and ArcGIS (ArcGIS 10)

The complex is located on high-performance servers capable of processing up to 15 000 base stations of movable RES per month
